MOSCOW, February 21 (Itar-Tass) – The Russian Embassy in Damascus has been damaged as a result of the explosion, a Russian diplomat told Itar-Tass on Thursday.
“The building has been really damaged,” the diplomat said.
No other information has been available yet.
Earlier reports said a huge car bomb blast had occurred near the headquarters of the Syrian BAAS party.
Casualties have been reported.
