SEOUL, November 29 (Itar-Tass) — The Republic of Korea has postponed the launch of the Naro-1 rocket 17 minutes before its start-up, a representative of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute said on Thursday.

The rocket with a research satellite was planned to be launched at 11.00 a.m. Moscow time, the representative said.

The postponement is conditioned with finding problems in the second-stage rocket that is also known as the Korea Space Launch Vehicle (KSLV-1). “The pre-start preparations will resume after the problem is solved,” the representative said.

It will take at least more than an hour to determine the gravity of the situation, said Cho Yul-Rae, vice-minister II of the Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. He is in charge of this project.
